Who we are:

In my studio, there are three core values that we prioritize above all else:

  1. Transparency - This means sharing openly and honestly when it’s needed, without waiting to be asked. Whether it’s in personal matters or business, transparency is the driving force behind everything I do. If we can’t be open about our intentions, then there is no foundation to move forward.

  2. Honesty - Honesty is being truthful when asked, and more importantly, being brutally honest with yourself. If you aren’t clear about your own goals and desires, you won’t be able to live an authentic life. Without honesty, you can’t build trust, and without trust, you can’t build anything of value.

  3. Self before others - “You can’t pour from an empty cup” is something I live by. If your cup is not full, how can you give to others without depleting yourself? Priortizing yourself is not selfish, it’s necessary. If you don’t take care of your own needs, you won’t have anything left to give.

If don’t have these three things aren’t apart of your foundation, you have nothing to offer for others. Transparency helps to avoid the need for brutal honesty, and putting yourself first ensures that you don’t burn out mentally, physically, or spiritually.

For much of my life, I didn’t have these values in place. I often put others before myself, didn’t confront the truth about what I needed, and lacked transparency for my own needs. As a result, I was in a constant state of exhaustion, always in “flight or fight.” My needs were defined by what others expected from me until I hit my breaking point where I was forced to move out and carve my own path to massage school. For the time, I had a safe, quiet space to learn how to prioritize myself.

By 2020, I was diving deep into my healing journey, learning the importance of proper breathing, understanding how to work out in alignment with my body’s needs based on my lifestyle, and perhaps most importantly, learning the values of drinking water. Among those things I learned countless other mental and physical wellness techniques that changed my thought process and ultimately opened my eyes to things like energy work, crystal healing, working with the chakras (fun fact: I thought that stuff was all for the movies on a conscious level, I think subconsciously I was always brawn to them). I began to understand what wellness truly meant, and how to help others achieve that.

In 2022, I made a difficult decision to leave a job that was draining me physically and mentally but one that I loved nonetheless. I took on another position that was a placeholder, while simultaneously offering in-home massages on the side as I prepared to open my own studio space. At the time, my vision was vague and not fully formed. But once the studio opened, everything beyond the massage aspect of the business was stalled. So I focused on massage while I worked on refining the rest of the business-researching, asking questions, talking to clients, and learning everything I could. For the next two years, I worked behind the scenes, shaping a clearer vision of how I wanted to offer a positive, holistic approach that didn't rely too heavily on Western medicine.

Now, I am incredibly proud of what I’ve built. The work we’re doing in the studio is my greatest gift, and I’m deeply grateful for it.

I hope this information and tools we provide here offer you as much peace and healing as they’ve brought me.
